How it all started
My balloon twisting journey began in 2010 at my hometown fair.
At the time, I was giving away little trinkets, toys, and helium balloons to the kids who came by. It was a lot of fun, but it was also getting expensive! I wanted to continue giving the kids something special without spending a fortune, so I started looking for a more affordable option.
That’s when I discovered balloon twisting.
My Dad gave me a balloon twisting book for Christmas, and I decided to teach myself how to make a few simple designs. I practiced, gave it a try, and jumped right in. That first year, I twisted more than 300 balloon swords and dogs for the kids at the fair!
What started as a way to save money quickly became something I absolutely loved.
Over the years, I continued learning, practicing, and adding more and more designs to my repertoire. What began with simple swords and dogs grew into all kinds of animals, flowers, characters, hats, and custom creations.
Today, balloon twisting has become so much more than a hobby. I get to bring my balloons to birthday parties, festivals, weddings, company events, anniversaries, community celebrations, and all kinds of special occasions. And the best part is still seeing the excitement on someone's face when they watch a simple balloon transform into something they imagined.
It all started with a Christmas gift from my Dad, a handful of balloons, and my hometown fair.
And I’ve been twisting ever since! 🎈
